Framing the centerpiece
Ethren’s work is the pair of wood shelving towers and their integrated base cabinets. Their repeated shelf lines establish symmetry around the stone, television, and fireplace, which are not presented as part of the woodwork scope.
Recessed lighting washes each wood-lined bay, bringing out the grain while keeping the display objects and central composition visually legible.
